How does the treatment work?

Precisely controlled short pulses of light are released to target areas of concern, treating pigmentation, sun spots, age spots, red thread vein and uneven skin tone, leaving you with a more youthful, flawless complexion. This IPL treatment also stimulates the fibroblasts cell which increases the production off collagen and elastin, improving the texture of the skin and reducing the appearance of lines, wrinkles and scars.

How does the treatment feel?
Most people describe the treatment as moderate and tolerable and much the same as the feeling of other laser/IPL treatments.

Possible side effects to the treatment?
Redness is normal after skin rejuvenation treatment but subsides quickly. You may experience a darkening of the skin, which is perfectly normal, this just means the treatment is working. In most cases, there will be no side effects or skin irritation, but if there is, it typically goes within a few hours. Pigmentation tends to darken before flaking off, leading to a more even and glowing skin tone. As new collagen is produced and increases your skin will become firmer and tighter.

How many treatments are necessary?
I recommend 3 treatment sessions to start at 2-3 weeks intervals, some clients may need 6 treatments for best results. This will be discussed and explained at the consultation. Thereafter, top up sessions are performed as required, but usually once or twice a year.
Consultation & Patch Test
A Free consultation will be carried out before any treatment to discuss any medical history or conditions this is just to clarify your suitability for the treatment. Treatment plans are tailored to each individual client to suit their needs and skin concerns. If you wish to proceed with the treatment plan, a patch test is required at the cost of £20, this payment will then be deducted from your first treatment.
